Nintendo is making a profit as of now. Sony is not. MS can't get a Gen 8 profit without having released any Gen 8 system yet. So you could argue that Nintendo is number 1 in profits so far this generation, too.

I didn't say that did I? They will definitely profit, I'm waiting to see what the new average is for Nintendo profits though.

They're not selling en masse (yet?) software is half of what it was on DS and the profit margin on them both is so tiny.

i guess we'll have to wait and see, 3DS finally releasing its best title and japan gets MH4 as well. 3DS/2DS will definitely give nintendo huge profits off both hardware and software this year. WiiU should do decent holiday, we dont kno how that will play out yet
