I work for Syracuse Research Corp. and I can tell you of the people that have a Wii, they absolutely love it. I would say we are roughly split (for those that own a system) 60% wii, 30% XBox360, 10% PS3. Although, I used to run a company game night were we would play PC games, so we are big into PC games too. So as a note, a group of people who are pretty big into cutting edge technology favor the Wii.
I found out about Wal-mart's SSBB brawl mistake from someone at work, and I've had multiple people ask me how to find a system. So no, people at my work definitely are in love with the Wii.
