Nintendo no. 1 in profits every generation. Almost feel sorry for mega corporations.

No it wasn't. The GC lost a ton of money but due to the great success of the GBA, Nintendo overall still made A LOT of money.

Most Nintendo's money come from thier handheld+pokemon/first party combo. Their consoles really arent that profitable (well, aside from Wii). 

software is very profitable though, attach ratio was great on GCN! But yeah i think gamecube and wiiu only consoles not profitable imo
