Actually, XBox is the brand they use for their gaming division nowadays, just like XBox music. Talking about XBox exclusivity means it being tied to the XBox brand. They use it for WP8, W8, XBox360 and now XBox One. You focus too much on it being exclusive to one console, not the brand. MS couldn´t care less if you buy it on either platform, it will make them tons of cash anyways :).
