Exactly my point. People in these forums often seem mote inclined to discuss what limitations they see in the consoles we have or those that will come in this next generation (which actually started a year ago :)). The fact is that we are talking about companies that want to make their share holders happy, and choose different strategies to do so. Let us then imagine what this new technology, which both companies created, will bring in terms of new experiences and communities.
I do believe MS has the more future proof console, but would love for the PS4 and X1 to evolve beyond what we currently know of them. And there is where the modding community could be the next big thing. I am a die hard MS and Sega fan, but that doesn´t mean I do not want healthy devlopment of this industry that we, let´s face it, love :).
