He's the the main cause (mostly) that Nintnedo is in this mess IMO. After they finished developing the N64, any developer that didn't agree with him were told to basicly fuck off (hence how the playstation was born). Thats why/where/when they started to drop support for Nintendo and started losing sales and their recognition because the aging man was still president.
If his develoepement team were told to develope a better N64 (perhaps cartridge-less) then maybe the company wouldn't have suffered, He should've stepped down a generation earlier, and MAYBE...just maybe Nintendo wouldn't be the way they are now.
