Wii U Passes 1 Million Units in Japan in Roughly the same time Frame the PS3 did

8 weeks before the PS3.

That said PS3 had 3rd party support so it was able to manage a come back. Do I think the Wii U will get that support? No. Unless its first party titles do reaaaally well it won't compete with the PS3 numbers.
