man, i feel like there's alot of bias here. I think metroid prime 3 was easily the WORST shooter with pointer controls. I hated having to point all the way to the end of the screen to start turning samus. However, after conduit refined the way shooters should be customized, i think all the fps's had about the same controls. COD, conduit 2, red steel 2, were all about the same. And were awesome. Still my preferred way to play an fps, but i don't think we'll see it anymore :(
