Wii U games made by Nintendo are lazy? Really?

It did have better textures and lighting. But the point is, Prime 1 and 2 pushed the Gamecube. Prime 3 and DKCR pushed the Wii. DKC:TF does not push the Wii U.

        Eh.  Retro is most likely  working on an other title and that  one is most likely  going to push the system. Besides Tropical Freeze is a great looking game.

I'm sure DKC:TF will look and play great. I'm just saying, compared to their previous games, less effort was put into pushing its graphics. Some might call  that a type of laziness.

         Lazy  in my opinion is when devs rehash the same gameplay and don't add anything that would catch the consumer's attention.
