Nobody needs him, except for the US, yes, that goes without saying. He has committed a crime, for that sole reason he is worth searching for. I guess I just was replying on claims of alleged interest of other parties other people have made.

Ah, I misunderstood you. Yes, China or Russia probably already knew all or most Snowden leaked. but they couldn't make it official, Snowden did that. Now he hasn't much use for them. But anyways, they could feel like helping him without getting involved too much not for his usefulness but to make the US look bad.
