Hmm, the country doing not bad economically (maybe luck, because of high oil-price). Chavez strengthens the rights of the indian minority. On the bad side he is clearly anti-US (not anti-american, he is himself an south-american). So he is surely very controversial. But let the people from Venezuela decide who'S best for them. It'S a democracy they have. And they clearly voted for Chavez. That may be change, like in every other democracy.
