That was the point. PS3 was significantly more powerful hardware than 360, but I'm not sure that even any Sony development teams ever really fully tapped that potential. Like you say, on par with 360 games, in most cases because with third party titles, they developed with the 360 in mind, not the PS3.

So certainly, Wii U is more powerful hardware than PS3. But you're not going to see that in especially first wave ports of PS360 titles. You might see it more noticible in a game like Watch Dogs, which they've indicated is taking advantage of the extra power.
