Nintendo has made just under 10 new IPs for the 3DS & under 5 new IPs for the Wii U. I will even name some:

Dillon's Rolling Western
Sakura Samurai: Art if the Sword
Steel Diver
Savvy Style: Trendsetters
Ketzal's Corridors
Kersploosh!
Pushmo
HarmoKnight
I know there are other new 1st party IPs, but right now that's all I can think of.
