apparently its bricking 500gig+ hdds
people say dont reformat it, sony will release another patch witch ull need to install via USB in the boot menu
(make 2 folders in caps 1 called PS3 and another called UPDATE put the UPDATE folder in PS3 folder, the put the system update in UPDATE folder) PS3 > UPDATE > system software
