On one hand, I was not hoping for this. I'm starting to reach my 2D platforming quota for a while. On the other hand, DKCR shows these guys know what they're doing with the franchise. If they really spent three years on this, it should be a worthwhile game. I may not pick it up this year, and I'm not sure it will sell to people who wouldn't get NSMBU, but I and millions of others will eventually buy this game.
