Advance Wars on home consoles is Battalion Wars. Advance Wars is turn based combat while Battalion Wars is real time strategy. You are right that Battalion Wars would be awesome on the Wii U. Shame the last Battalion Wars on Wii didn't sell so much which might affect them from making another.

No no no. AW on home consoles as in Famicon Wars. Strategy. I own BW2 and it was real time alright but short on strategy. If in BW3 you have higher control of your units via the Gamepad, then it's okey. But just like Fire Emblem has had their home console versions, it would be nice to see the War series return in pure strategy form.
