Sure, she kind of comes to peace with her brother's death, but still, not to mention the fact that she loses Shulk to Fiora; no real closure there...

It would be perfect if you play as Shulk's decendant or something, and she gets him instead. That was the one part of the game I really wanted closure on, but poor Meilia lost her entire race and her parents. Such a tragic girl needs redemption in a sequel!
