Ace Attorney 5 has been announced for the West and a release time has been set, which is fall. The game has also been renamed to Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies and will be digital only on the 3DS E-shop.

In this new title we will see the return of Phoenix Wright after his 8 years of not being a lawyer. We will also see the return of Apollo Justice, the main character of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. Not only that, we will also see a brand new character called Athena Cykes, which will serve as the new assistant and she will introduce a new gameplay mechaninc in the courtroom.

This new mechanic is called Mood Matrix, which in you will be able to see the emotions of characters in the wittness stand.

Besides that, Dual Destinies will also star a new proscecutor.
