$40k for a patch. Many DLCs require patches to work with the standard game plus additional costs to put up the DLC (needs to go through certification process). They probably can't afford to support the WiiU version for every new DLC. I guess if it's a bunch of DLC they will release it as some kind of special or GOTY edition later on.
360 version already saw two patches and from articles I've seen they are still working on a WiiU patch to fix the "exclusive" WiiU problems ? At least I haven't heard that the patch arrived.
