I need to answer what I answered to some Sony-fan in different threads: That is wishful thinking. It might happen, or it might not. At this point we don't know. We will have to wait and see how it all turns out.
And I hope not only for the WiiU, but also for the Vita for recovery. It is not out of option, the pricecut happened only in Japan so far, and we will see after the Golden week the new baseline for Vita in that region.
