I dont think they have that kind of system to be honest with you. They are trying to do the WIi thing all over again. Dont do an actual generational leap, and just give the people something funky, like the wiimote before. Problem is no one cares about the pad right now, SO they dont have that and they were kinda banking on it.

The Wii U has more than enough to show off it's a step up from the PS3 and Xbox 360. If Nintendo will acutally show that off is another story.

Just like they had with the Wii? Some how i doubt that, but hell the system did come out, maybe in about five years we will see games looking a step up from PS360, considering how Wii turned out, im remaining skeptical.

No it didnt, any game on Wii could have been done on at least a Xbox, it would just be downgraded, and it took till just now to get that. There are PS360 games that CANT be dont on Wii right now. Unless its downgraded to the point where its not even the same game anymore. (Dead Rising, SW Force Unleashed, POP,etc.)

You can port anything to anything if you downgrade it enough.Fact is, there are games on Wii that no 6th gen console could run in their current state.

Ok whats your point they still could run on GC without that much sacrifice, you would still get the basic game but worst. No you cant just port anything to anything, by that logic, SNES could run Bioshock. Now you can make a SNES game called Bioshock, with the same themes, but it wont be the same thing. They tried that with Dead Rising, its not even the same game. You've played SW FU for Wii? How about PS360 version. I played all three, the Wii version is nto the same. Two different games.

My point? The Wii produced games beyond the capabilities of the 6th gen consoles.

If you were given cart blanche to cut down visuals to the most basic level, there's almost nothing on PS3/360 that the PS2 couldn't do.


Yes...Nintendo seems to like just barely one upping the last gen with their current gen tech. These two gens will be quite interesting and no...the Wii did not have better games than the PS2. Its just like the Wii U's library vs the PS3 and 360? Who cares? 

Who said anything about the Wii having better games than the PS2?
