You forget to mention one very important thing though, Rol.
Super Mario World expanded the Mario universe. That's why people keep trying to find reasons why they like it more than the NSMB games. Because the new lands and new quests excited their imaginations and made the game feel 'magic'
The NSMB games doesn't do this as much, and comes off as stale.
