maybe just a little bit. FF7 is still expensive despite being on PSN for years.

What is your definition of "expensive". You can buy a used copy of FF7 for less than it was new when it came out. On the other hand a used copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga goes for 5-6 times it's launch price.
the game is 119+ used, thats pretty expensive, but its 25.90 used, which isnt bad. To be fair this is the first time ive checked the pricing in YEARS, last time i checked it was 50 just for a used copy which is expensive considering its a ps1 game. Whether Panzer Dragoon or whatever cost more is irrelevant.
It is relevant. FF7 was released by the millions. That's why it's not as valuable on the secondary market today. Panzer Dragoon Saga is an example of a game that was released in the US in less than 30,000 copies. It's used value nas gone up while FF7 has gone down. Any out of print game is going to cost more today new than it did when it was still in production. The real show of value is in the used price because that what gamers pay to play, not just rich collectors with too much money in their pocket.
that goes without saying, just wasnt sure what panzer dragoon has to do with FF7 or what you were trying to prove. I still think 25 plus for a used copy of a PS1 game in 2013 is still much, thats still fifteen dollars more than it cost to just DL the thing of a PSN, especially if you just care about playing the game.
That's why I asked "What is your definition of 'expensive'." The word is relative.
I agree with you that FF7 has an inflated used price. There are millions of them out there, but there are also millions of fans. A common game can hold it's value if it continues to be popular. If Panzer Dragoon Saga had as many fans wanting to play it as FF7 the 30,000 Panzer Dragoon Saga copies out there would be worth an insane amount. I'd love to know if the PSN and PC digital versions of FF7 has effected the used price of the PSX original.
