If indie games don't appeal to certain people that doesn't mean they suck, it just means that people have different taste. For example I have no interest in the God of War games. For me the gameplay is shallow, the characters are cliché or unlikable, and beyond graphics they have little to offer me. The key to that statement is the word "me". God of War isn't for me, it's for other people. Indie games are different than AAA games which means that they are for different markets. I don't understand why anyone would complain about indie games. If they don't like them they can just play what they do like instead. It's like some people think we should all just play the same games without ever trying anything different.
