You probably know more about engines and game coding than me, so I'm just trying to apply it in my head with the best sense I can. I would think keeping it in UE4 would allow a dev to keep the same code and make tweaks as needed, whereas going to an older engine would require a bigger overhaul and may involve different language (again, I'm just talking out of my ass here, so don't mind me).
