tennis has so much depth. there is a LOT of stuff you can control with how you swing and spin your wiimote. it's easily the game with the most amount of wiimote gesture depth by a long shot.
wii bowling is also very good. not as deep as tennis, but still good control especially spin, speed and height of release.
the others are so-so like you said.
the Wii is an epidemic.
