As for her not being a good gamer, she gave the PC version of Dark Souls a 9.5 (and Nintendoland a 8.0) so I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Now THAT is really strange. I guess she played Dark Souls in jolly co-operation otherwise I have to conclude that Luigi's Mansion is harder than Dark Souls.

There is a difference between satisfying difficulty and difficulty due to flawed game design, not saying that Lugi's mansion is flawed, just pointing out why one game might get panned for difficulty while another praised.

Perhaps she is also more concerned about difficulty because this game's target audience also includes young kids. Either way if I convince myself to pick up a 3ds xl I will definitely be getting this alongside it.
