But then again, neither this gears game or the new GOW game will have decent legs.  The next gen will cut them off somewhat.

no it's not.  GoW has always had nice legs and GoW3 is obviously undertracked here (over 5 million for sure) so it has better legs than is shown.

It's exactly the other way around. The launch is undertracked, making the legs "shorter" on a percentage basis instead of longer.
