The 8th Gen, the 3DS Hardware "features" speak for themselves. And then there's all the New Legendary 1st Party IPs that are already getting sequels, like Dillon 2 & Crashmo, and who knows what else will get a sequel.
The Wii U brings us "Single-Player-Asymetrical-Gaming" which hasn't been copy by the PS4 & 720, which helps the Wii U secure a few more exclusives, as well as more exclusive definitive versions of older games.
Plus theres finally full on connectivity between the 3DS & Wii U.
Plus TVii & downloading full 3D movies.
And many more.
As a bonus, the Wii U gets such games as Lego City & Bayonetta 2, while the PS4 & 720 are just stuck with the same multiplayer games as the Wii U & PC get, for almost all 3rd party support.
I guess I should name some legendary 1st party IPs & 3rd party exclusives the 8th Gen has gave us, starting with 1st Party:
Dillion's Rolling Western Franchise
Rebooted Kid Icarus Franchise
Pushmo franchise
Sakura Samurai franchise
Ketzal's Corridors franchise
Yarn Yoshi franchise
Nintendo land franchise
Rebooted Luigi's Mansion franchise
Spirit Camera franchise
Steel diver franchise
Rebooted Pilotwings franchise
Fire Emblem Cross franchise
For 3rd party exclusives:
Rhythm thief and the Emperor's treasure franchise (the sequel is exclusive to Wii U)
The wonderful 101 franchise
Lego city franchise
TheatRhythm Final Fantasy franchise
Mutant Mudds franchise (sequel exclusive to 3DS)
Mighty Switch force
Rebooted Bayonetta franchise
Rodea the Sky Soldier
Bravely Default Franchise
X franchise
code of princess franchise
Project X Zone franchise
Beyond the labyrinth franchise
And anything else I forgot about 8th Gen Nintendo IPs, both 1st Party & 3rd Party.
