The games I have and love are:
Mario 3D Land
Zelda OoT 3D
Ridge Racer 3D
Mario Kart 7
As for the XL. I have the XL and the screen looks great. Nothing looks upscaled or blurry. It's also still small enough to fit in a pocket. An adult male size pocket.
