Yes, thats what it mean but it would only affect the games that are still charting and not the others


It's just... weird, I guess.  

Ys: Celceta was the most obvious one to me.  They only tracked two weeks of sales for that title.  If they're only getting them from Media.Create numbers or something, then smaller games that release during busy schedules (for example during a holiday period) don't have their actual sales represented.  While a smaller title like Demon Gaze which releases in a game drought has all of its sales tracked.

Oh well.

They update the numbers when famitsu or mediacreate release their top 500/1000 of the year
