I've seen people make this statement in the last couple of days - some going as far as saying Killzone SF "blows away" Crysis 3 PC on ultra settings. I think people need to come back to reality here. Killzone looks good. Great, in fact - particularly the beginning where the entire city is visible. The geometry, draw distance, reflections - all look spectaular. It's one of the best looking things I've seen. Even the part before the explosion is just gorgeous. It has a really nice style to it. However, compare Killzone (I embedded the video above) where the firefight actually begins to the gameplay portions of the Crysis 3 vids below. That's where Killzone and its 30fps begins to show its "limitations". Don't get me wrong - it already looks great and should look even better when it comes out. And for a launch game, it's spectacular. But Crysis 3 on a high-end PC - even though I may not like the style as much - trumps it in the end when it comes to performance IMO. The fast, silky-smooth frame rate adds so much to the overall visual fidelity.

I never said anything about PC ultra settings. The only thing I ever said about PC was that my laptop is I5 and plays Crysis 2 better. I am talking about consoles here. Technically PC's have been "next gen" for a little while now. I am of course speaking figuratively, because we all know PC's dont have gens.
