Precisely.
EA rightfully gets hate for the way they have generally handled ports to Nintendo systems in the past few years. FIFA 13 case-in-point, which was late, actually FIFA 12, missing a bunch of features and full price. Mass Effect, another example, was sent to retail already deceased. This has been EA's MO for the past few years.
Now this game is also late, but at least it is fully featured (in fact with some addtional features) and the developers appear to have gone to some lengths to ensure that they make the most of the Wii U. Consequently, the buzz around this particular game is very positive, seemingly across the board.
Props to Criterion for a job well done but I'll reserve judgment on EA as a whole for some time still.
