I've been told from someone from Nintendo, that they've already tried a multimedia channel. You are able to play DVDs and play DivX files (huh?) from an SD card. (Why no usb pendrive? To prevent piracy or so he says; but why keep SD?) Naturally, I asked why it hasn't been out yet? He didn't know either, but he suggest it might be due to some proprietary rights.
When I heard him say this, I was gobsmack... they already have it but haven't released it yet?
Maybe we should do a petition for it to see the light of day
