what you need is a scan converter. Since I'm from the US, it would be hard for me to find a shop that sells what you need, but if you google "TV to VGA Converter" you should find what you need.
For example, I found this one by Startech

however, it is a bit pricey ~$100
EDIT: however, something like this would be more useful in case you wanted to plug other systems into your monitor, not just a Wii or PS3
