There's something for everyone and I left out a number of very good movies that aren't as well known as these. Star Wars alone wins the year the title of best year in movies, the rest are all gravy.

You forgot Smokey and the Bandit.

Lol, fun movie for sure, but not quite what I'd be willing to call a classic. Popcorn classic maybe.

EDIT: Isn't High Anxiety a spoof of Vertigo?  I saw it when I was really young.

Yep and I like it more than Vertigo. But like I said above I'm partial to comedies. Plus I'm a sucker for Mel Brooks flicks.
