Yes, too easy. First one is still the best.
28. Alien, 1979, Ridley Scott
The best horror is that which you can't see. The Alien is beautifully crafted but you have to wait for it to see it. Suspense is great throughout the whole movie as is the pacing. The space ship set is one of the most memorable in sci-fi, lovingly created from old bomber aircraft parts. That's probably why it holds up so well in HD. There is so much detail in the background which makes it look like a real lived in ship. It is one of the best looking blu-ray upgrades there is, I finally got to see it as it was intended in the cinema.

thats the one thing i will never understand ..IMO HD completely destroys the atmosphere especially in old movies like alien I always prefer VHS over BR or DVD.
