This reminds me of some of the really annoying things I hear people in real life say about this.
"Why make it on the 3DS?"
^--- implying they should have stuck with the DS
"They only made this game to sell the 3DS"
^--- implying that the only reason to make the game is to sell the console. No, sales of the software are also really important and would most likely not have sold as much as they would have keeping it on the DS
"It would have sold more if they kept it on the DS because most people who bought a DS still have one. I can think of more people who have a DS than a 3DS."
^--- Super annoying statement. It ignores a LOT about how these things work and completely ignores the fact that there are a lot of technical limitations when they keep it on an inferior system. One big aspect is the online one, and another big one is its capability for improving graphics and general computing (more eventful scenes, battles, etc.)
