To be fair Lost Odyssey was part of microsoft's push for Japan, where they were trying to get a ton of exclusive jrpgs. When the stratagy didn't work it made sense not to continue securing jrpgs.
Though I do agree microsoft has plenty of ips that they aren't using anymore simply because they aren't multimillion selling games. They should just lower the budget of those games. I never understood why microsoft was willing to spend billions on advertising for the casuals but aren't willing to take losses on some games to please their core base. It seems as if an exclusive sells under 2mil, we will likely never see a sequel.
I think just a few unique games could really grab the attention of PC gamers who otherwise won't be missing out much considering so many 360 console exclusives are also on the pc. I know xbla has some great content, but most of it ends up getting ported to the pc as well.
Then again this is from our perspective. And people who are browsing a game sales website are among the most dedicated gamers, so maybe in reality those small exclusives make a negligible difference in console sales.
