These aren't really healthy profits. The profit comes from their foreign assets now being worth more due to the depreciation of the yen. Despite this they had to revise their fiscal year operating income from a profit to a loss. |
Correct, the channel is likely stuffed from the holiday, there are global reports of massive stock. High shipments do not equal high sellthrough, especially with such a rapid drop in retail sales.
