I was surprised in how well internet could be used as a group. Let down that they didn't go with Skype for the video conf. app, sure its Microsoft but at least it is much more useful.

Didn't do the transfer when I got the WiiU due to lack of VC/WW info. But I still needed my Miis, and the Wii transfer is all or nothing. I tried looking for ways to transfer the Miis to WiiU. The Mii app gave 3DS and vWii options, I have no 3DS so vWii it is. Go to my Wii, transfer a few Miis to the Wiimote and when I try transfer them to the vWii, there is no option. The emulated Wii is stripped-down in some fronts... In the end, I had the Wii running in the TV editing the Miis, and creating them from scratch with the Gamepad.
