-Survival horror - DEAD

-Platformers - DEAD

-RPG's - DEAD

And many more!!

All the genres i mentioned above are still being made but they are not as relevant as previous generations because of the reasons i mentioned above. 

People really don't learn from history....PONG clones anyone?
