does anyone else just see the wii u sales as very typical for a new console?

I think they're at 1/3 to 1/5th the amount I expected this month, but launch month sales were good in te US and Japan, below expectation in Europe.

I really think Nintendo needs to act and announce something huge for the fall, and some interesting hold-off games for the next 6 months.
