Playstation 3 is down 35% from last year. For comparision last year it was down 0% at this point and it still ended up down 20% for the year. No more 10mil+ years from current gen consoles =(. Not going to even be close.
Those Wii U numbers are also scary low considering how bad they will be once the holiday period in Japan is over.
360 will close the gap a bit when Japan's holiday is over, but its clear that a new console is needed by the end of the year, or next year during the summer we will be seeing sub 50k weeks.
As for software. Happy to see halo 4 is ahead of black ops 2 in both the US and UK. I wish the rest of Europe would follow suit.
Pretty crazy that 3 fallout titles are in the top 100 in the US this week. Although I guess I do remember fallout New Vegas making the npd charts over a year after launch. Bethesda will likely have another huge hit when they release fallout 4. Clearly there is still a lot of interest in the IP.
