Gears of War 3 is the most disappointing game ever for me (that doesn't mean it's the worst obviously). I was so hyped for it and even paid £100 for the EPIC Edition day one and the game is horrible. It has a good online component but charging people extra to use dedicated servers is a huge dick move, especially when I spent so much money on the game.

The single player is absolutely atrocious. The great atmosphere of the first two games is completely gone, the entire Cole section is awful, the story sucked ass and we STILL don't know why the Locust Queen looks human. The graphics could have been much nicer and the OST is mediocre compared to the original game. It's also by far the easiest in the series, you almost can't die even on the hardest difficulty which I beat with no more than 4 or so deaths. They also did an awful job at establishing new characters, they just popped out of nowhere and tagged along like we know them enough to want them fighting to the death with us, we don't. The pacing is rubbish, the final boss fight is pathetic compared to RAAM. And one last thing, IT'S BORING.

Gears of War: Judgment is looking even worse, EPIC are not getting any of my money again for any new games in the series, I hope they move on to something else and leave Gears of War to People Can Fly to milk to death.

I understand this is yout opinion and all, but I have to disagree with atleast 2 claims.

1. I'm not sure how you can say the graphics could have been nicer. It looks much  better than gears1&2 and one of the best looking games this gen let alone on 360.

2. Playing on hardcore was fairly easy, but insane was bloody difficult especially by yourself. I don't believe for 1 second you only died 4 times on insane.
