Didn't From Soft create and release the Dark Souls DLC based on huge petition and demand people made online ?

Exactly!

Emphasis is on huge! Because how this petition is going right now it may as well be a disservice to people who want this game or any other 3rd party game on the Wii U as it could show developers that the userbase is not really interested.
