I somehow doubt it released there. Wasn't it basically NA only?

yes that's why i guess it could be mexico haha

Maybe Iceland has some strange educational system as well. I've seen it before that people did not count Mexico towards North America.
|
Even if it did release in Mexico, that would not explain the missing 22k, since they come from somewhere outside of NA.

not sure if vgchartz does count mexico as north america (that's always something i did wonder about here) but if the guy from mexico said it releases today it was probably not mexico. and now i read some comments about a delay in mexico so maybe they did just guess the sales for mexico because they didn't know about the delay here on vgchartz? i read a comment of someone from guatemala who said it's already released there to the mexico guys so maybe it was the plan to release it in full north america included all the central american countries?
" Wii U continues to see delays in Mexico
The Wii U situation in Mexico continues to get worse and worse. More retailers are pushing the system back yet again. The latest release date posted is Nov. 29th, just one day before Europe is due for release. Let's hope that date ends up sticking. Thanks to all that sent this in!"

"What? I live in Guatemala (Central America) and there are lots of Wii U's in stores, but they are terribly overpriced (about $888 US dollars for the deluxe set)."
"Im located in Costa Rica. The price here for the deluxe set is $680. And thats from an store that sells official stuff from Nintendo. The price for the games is now arround $100, maybe more. I think I will have to buy online to at least get them at the real price.
Its really sad to see that we to pay almost double for everything videogame related. I have to import all the stuff in order to pay less and just pay the extra taxes for the stuff."
