I still think this was not fair to start with, it was obvious from the start of this thread that Mario would give it to Vita's top 10 from behind.

Hey, I fully expected games like Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty to sell a million copies each! How was I supposed to know how things would turn out?

Besides listening to Rol I mean.

Really? Vita install base by E3 was still very low and showed no signs of the platform supporting a million-seller.

Even now sales are barely 1 mil in each territory. For a game like COD to be a million seller, it would need to have an attach-ratio of 30%. Which is extremely high, and unlikely.

I overestimated the brand power of some of the Vita games coming out in the portable sphere, and felt certain that sales would improve more as the holdiay lineup and Black Friday kicked in.

Call it leftover optimism from the days the 3DS was struggling. As a fan of portable gaming, I felt certain that a 3DS-style turnaround would happen, at least to an extent. I mean, games like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed on a handheld ought to do at least as well as Uncharted: GA, right?
