isnt that to link your nintendo account (wii/3ds) with the new account (for the games like wiiware or vconsole you already bought) ?

those dont have Nintendo IDs and the Wii transfer system is totally different.

Im really curious about this actually and I'd love someone who has a wii u to try it out
