not quite directly on topic here...but i watched lawrence of arabia last night for the first time. it was well done even if i wasnt a huge fan... it was interesting though, i would recommend at least watching it once. i couldnt help but think the arabs on the whole havent changed in the last 70 years except for becoming obscenely wealthy on oil money.
